Preparation of the Patient in IVF Treatment

After listening to the couple's history, an examination and ultrasound are performed. In addition, blood tests, chromosome analyses and reports on other diseases, if any, are requested to better understand the patient's condition. This is an important step in determining the requirements of treatment and creating the most appropriate treatment plan.

The examination of the woman is the most important procedure that determines the course of IVF treatment. During this examination, it is investigated whether there is any structural disorder in the woman. Existing masses such as cysts, myomas, polyps are evaluated and it is examined whether there is any congenital anomaly to the genital organs of the woman. At the same time, the woman's ovum reserve is also evaluated, thus contributing to better planning of the treatment process.

If the man has a spermiogram and sexual dysfunction, this is also evaluated. The sperm sample taken from the man is analyzed by spermiogram test and detected if there are sexual functional disorders. This helps to tailor the treatment plan to the couple's specific needs.

In addition, if the couple has previously undergone surgeries, these surgery reports are also examined. How past surgeries may affect the treatment process is evaluated and the treatment plan is shaped accordingly.

As a result of all these stages, the evaluation of the couple is completed and a special IVF treatment process is started for the couple. Since each couple's situation is different, the treatment plan is also individually tailored so that the best results are achieved. The meticulous work of the expert medical team and the cooperation of the couple increase the chances of success in IVF treatment and strengthen their hopes of having the dream baby.
